[ He said nothing more, accepting Edelgard's words and her generosity to help him. His bruises freeze upon contact with the ointment, tightening around the bruise with the bones rearranging instantly. It's certainly magical, but not in the same sense as Fodlan's with brighter lights and glyphs. He closes his eyes at the feel of her touch, feeling her getting closer within his personal space which distracted him enough to crack an eye open, humming curiously that he masks as a grunt. ]
I haven't felt that in a while...
[ He muses. His jovial nature slowly coming back to him. His arm consequently coiled around her waist with how physically close she had become to him, and he brought the subject up indirectly by looking at her face, and the rest of her body. Despite her small stature, he can see the strength and elegance in her shape that really makes her special, and even with the dim lighting of the baths, he can see her steel grey eyes ]
There's a bit of lavender in the grey of your eyes.
[Lavender, lilac, mauve, pale violet... It was all the same to her. Though "grey" is new. Her eyes have always been lightly colored. And now that her hair is white... well, sometimes in the night she's mistaken for a specter since she favors white nightgowns. After all, in the dark pupils blend too well with her sclera.]
My mother's side of the family has always had eyes that were some shade of light purple. Though I've not heard them described as grey before.
[Once the ointment is properly applied Edelgard politely puts a little distance between them. If only because she's inwardly battling with herself to let go or stay firm in regards to how hard she typically walls herself off from people.]
[ He watches her retract herself from him, gesturing towards the water before standing himself up. His height more prominent once again now that he can feel himself be able to stand straight once more. ]
That salve is old magic. Part of the healing process is to take a bath on some enchanted water directly after.
[ He shrugs, suggesting what comes before a bath as he takes off whatever is left of the clothes around his upper body. Scars on his torso and back now laid bare for Edelgard to see. He walks slowly toward the end of the pool, taking his pants off with no shame whatsoever right before dipping his feet into the pool and slowly entering it first. Turning around, he invites her in with a subtle smile. He gets that she wants to wall herself, and being naked in front of friends can be daunting to people like that. It's as if you're also revealing your own emotions when you strip yourself naked. ]
[She watches with cold eyes. Carefully observant as he undresses completely and steps in the heated water. It is only moments after he suggests she join him that she gently nods and begins to remove her own underthings.
Her body seems soft and modest despite the excessive scarring. That is until she stretches or flexes while folding her clothes carefully and shoves them away from the pool-like bath. Before hopping in she undoes the tightly wound buns in which her hair is coiled up in. Long, fine locks fall beyond her shoulders for the tips to sway near her hips.
Finally when she slips into the water she sighs. Her body melting at the welcome warmth and her skin turning taught as it pricks with gooseflesh.]
[ Troy gave her a moment to get comfortable getting naked, focusing on himself and brushing his wounds with a gentle pouring of water from his palm. Though that moment barely lasted as long as he thought or wanted, his curiosity driving him to glance at Edelgard. Seeing her naked form, scarred yet elegant, small yet strong. He's seen many women naked before, both warriors and not - yet none of them compare to what Edelgard has, possessing the best of both worlds in his eyes.
His eyes fixed by her, Troy's gaze followed her until she feels the warmth of the bath. The subtle wave and ripples of the water as she joins him sent the same thrill all over his wounded skin. He hums and sighs, letting his body sink a bit deeper into the pool ]
[With her short stature it is not difficult for Edelgard to find a spot to relax where the water can sit just above the gentle swell of her breasts. The warmth and magic ointment soothes her sore muscles and achy bones.]
No, there is not. Faith magic can be used to heal wounds before a scar is formed, but after you receive them there is no turning back time.
[ He hums, thinking about how different the magic in her world is ]
I know someone who can reverse scars.
[ He shared quite proudly, despite having scars on his own person as well. ]
But you're probably thinking why I haven't gone to them yet, huh?
[ Gently teasing, figuring she had probably looked at his body already as much as he's looking at her own. ]
Each scar tells a story, they say. I decided to keep the ones from the toughest battles I survived. As a reminder to keep myself level-headed, and as trophies of sort.
I suppose that's a decent way to view them if your scars were all from circumstances of your own choosing. I got most of mine as a child, and as such the wounds were inflicted on me rather than marks of a battle. I may not like them, but I have a long way to go before I feel like I'm worthy enough to shed them.
[After all... they are a reminder that she must forge on and do for the world what she could not do for her brothers and sisters.]
[ He gives a nod, understanding and somber as that didn't sound easy, and he's not about to go pretending to know what that's like. ]
Well. For what it's worth, you wear them well.
[ It may be odd to say, especially with a subtle smile. ]
Seeing you survive so many hardships and be as strong as you are now. That takes guts and more. I admire that about you, you know. After today, I feel like I can follow you into any battle...
Even if I know if I piss you off, you'll finish what this guy couldn't.
[ He points at the scar by his collar bones, a remnant of a time someone tried to lob his head off ]
