[Lavender, lilac, mauve, pale violet... It was all the same to her. Though "grey" is new. Her eyes have always been lightly colored. And now that her hair is white... well, sometimes in the night she's mistaken for a specter since she favors white nightgowns. After all, in the dark pupils blend too well with her sclera.]

My mother's side of the family has always had eyes that were some shade of light purple. Though I've not heard them described as grey before.

[Once the ointment is properly applied Edelgard politely puts a little distance between them. If only because she's inwardly battling with herself to let go or stay firm in regards to how hard she typically walls herself off from people.]

[She watches with cold eyes. Carefully observant as he undresses completely and steps in the heated water. It is only moments after he suggests she join him that she gently nods and begins to remove her own underthings.

Her body seems soft and modest despite the excessive scarring. That is until she stretches or flexes while folding her clothes carefully and shoves them away from the pool-like bath. Before hopping in she undoes the tightly wound buns in which her hair is coiled up in. Long, fine locks fall beyond her shoulders for the tips to sway near her hips.

Finally when she slips into the water she sighs. Her body melting at the welcome warmth and her skin turning taught as it pricks with gooseflesh.]

[With her short stature it is not difficult for Edelgard to find a spot to relax where the water can sit just above the gentle swell of her breasts. The warmth and magic ointment soothes her sore muscles and achy bones.]

No, there is not. Faith magic can be used to heal wounds before a scar is formed, but after you receive them there is no turning back time.

I suppose that's a decent way to view them if your scars were all from circumstances of your own choosing. I got most of mine as a child, and as such the wounds were inflicted on me rather than marks of a battle. I may not like them, but I have a long way to go before I feel like I'm worthy enough to shed them.

[After all... they are a reminder that she must forge on and do for the world what she could not do for her brothers and sisters.]
