CANON POINT: Right after becoming Marshal

SUITABILITY: Troy has an active sex life when he's not keeping himself busy with work, on top of being deeply depressed and starved of meaningful relationships. He enjoys experimenting and having hook-ups with random people as his main vice; since alcohol, drugs and other bad habits don't really do anything for him and the things he used to enjoy don't really spark joy in him as much as it used to.
HISTORY:
Born in far future, in Batangas, Philippines and moved to Metro Manila when he was young, Troy had simple dreams of becoming a professional basketball player. A big brother to the kids of the neighborhood and a dutiful son, his simple life is cut short when a record storm strikes the country. Troy did his best to rescue as many people as possible, returning from safe zones again and again, only to supposedly perish in the flood.
Impressed with his bravery, Troy reawakens later and is rescued by agents of a secretive program, recruiting the now orphaned young man to become a supersoldier. With nothing left to lose, Troy agreed and submitted himself to the Silencer Project of the overarching Archon Program, where he is told the truth of the flood being caused by evil supernatural agents.
Troy grows up to become a trained soldier under the Project, where he got to commune with the gods of his ancestors through a virtual reality device that mimics astral projection, allowing Troy to be taught by the war gods of various Filipino pantheons, passing their tests and granting him the skills to become a fully fledged Silencer supersoldier.
Troy becomes an effective hitman for the Project, being sent on missions where he had to fight mythical creatures that were threatening to invade the human realm and cause another natural disaster of equal and greater magnitude than the one he experienced. He encountered other Archon supersoldiers outside of the Silencers as well, who he blames for their reckless use of powers that does more harm than good with the collateral damages they cause.
Not seeing his own hypocrisy, Troy continued on the crusade of eliminating evil mythical creatures at the beckoning of the war gods that taught him, stoking his fear into anger towards these creatures, causing more harm than good as he started targeting those who weren't evil, simply for being in his way.
Troy doesn't realize it yet until a goddess named Mayari, the sister of the chief war god Apolaki, has revealed to Troy the true intentions of her brother. Apolaki intends to use Troy and the other Silencers as vessels in the physical world. With Mayari's help, Troy turns his back on his former masters and took his war to them. But with being gods, their lives are closely tied to the lands they were worshiped, causing untold damage in his own country as he takes on these war gods one by one. Mayari warns Troy to leave her brother to her, as Apo Laki's life is tied to the entire country. But blinded by vengeance, Troy ignores this and duels with Apo Laki, sinking the entire country of the Philippines and leaving very few survivors.
Wracked with guilt over causing a deadly flood and losing his home - something he's been hoping to prevent - Troy is left all alone. Mayari sacrificed her divinity to create a miracle to help as much people escape the sinking country. Their strained relationship snapped with Mayari refusing to help him afterwards, killing any chance for reconciliation.
Distraught by the weight of his sins, Troy is declared missing-in-action after the destruction of the Philippines. Troy discards his past as a Silencer and flees the Earth altogether, wandering one space colony to another and hearing voices and having dreams of gods that offer to help him. Ignoring their calls until one day, Troy boards a colony ship bound to a new planet. Only for the ship to lose its way and ends up in an Earth-like world full of magical cultures and societies of people, the colony ship had no choice but to collaborate with the locals for survival, with no way home and losing contact with the rest of humanity, the survivors of the arkship settles on an uninhabited continent of the planet they named Silvis.
Silvis was a dark and dangerous continent full of monsters that the local population had avoided for centuries. Myths of giant creatures that even terrifies the most powerful wizard and strongest army of knights have long been associated with the dark continent. But the space-faring Terrans of Earth manage to make short work of these monsters with their terrifying technology, able to settle on Silvis just fine.
Terrans created cities in Silvis, calling it their new home. Relationships with local peoples immediately become strained over territory, culture clashes, and politics. All of which Troy ignores, choosing to live a quiet life by the beachside province called Brightshore, on the tropical part of Silvis' northern territory. He continued to hear the voices of gods that call to him, until he stops hearing them altogether. It coincided with him meeting another Terran, a woman named Faye, who he fell in love with. Faye gave Troy the hope he desperately needed that he can change to be a better person and make up for past wrongs.
He spends years living with Faye in their house by the beach, confiding to her about his past and Faye helping Troy learn to become more human again and becoming more ready to forget his past. With how magically charged the whole land of Silvis is, and with Faye's encouragement Troy is compelled to face dangerous magical creatures here and there, while out and about the forests and coasts of Brightshore. It was where he catches the attention of Midgard's government, as witnessed by an AI named Silke during a routine security scan of the continent's borders. Immediately he is recognized as an Archon soldier due to his inhuman prowess, and Silke gathering records of his past as a Silencer confirmed his identity.
Troy is asked to join Midgard's military as an Archon Commander. Midgard is in desperate need for supersoldiers, as most remaining Archons are still within the central colonies. He initially refuses, and it was only with Faye's counsel that he agrees to join the military again with the rank of Commander. Eventually he becomes the Marshal of the entire Terran military within Midgard.
His relationship with Faye gradually grows distant as they both focused on their jobs. Faye's duty as a diplomat always required her to travel to other continents and make deals with local leaders, reigniting her desire to try to find other Terran colonies outside of Midgard. Eventually, despite Troy's pleas for her to stay, Faye feels obligated by her duty to establish connection with other Terran colonies. She ends her relationship with Troy to set him free of having to wait for her, and departs in search of the nearest colony of Houtu, leaving Troy all alone in Midgard.
ABILITIES:
Superhuman Condition / Dormant Divinity: Troy's physical augmentations differs from other Archon soldiers, having come from a painful tattooing process that imbued to him godlike powers from various war gods of Filipino mythology. It allows him to outperform even other Archons, and it continued on improving at an exponential rate even compared to his Archon companions. The gods of war have put him through a specialized training system that can enhance a normal human to superhuman heights, which further increases with age and continued proper training that Troy was later able to achieve physical feats that's been called "godlike". His strength, speed, agility allows him to take on squads of heavily armed mecha (Gundam sized) single-handedly, all while unarmed. He was also able to fight giant monsters (Godzilla Earth sized) and divine giants (around 1600 feet tall) that tried to squash him but were unable to do so. He was able to force open a magically sealed gate that forbade even gods from entering, align moon-sized rings of an Alderson disk, push a skyscraper-sized bridge, and flip a building-sized robot (comparable to Raiden vs Excelsus) with nothing but his raw strength. His strength, reflexes, durability, and stamina are especially notable, able to be in the thickest of battlefields and come out only receiving glancing blows or even completely unscathed. On the times he gets injured or didn't have any time for food or rest, he is able to keep going for weeks. Troy often fights entities that can overpower him in a straight fight, but he manages to hold his own even if it comes to such an encounter with his highly tuned coordination, hyper-awareness and focus and a preternatural precognitive ability that helps him predict his enemies' next attacks that comes with his Silencer training. He also heals from injury at a faster rate, often instantly, even from injuries that would be fatal to a normal human or attacking his brain. The magic-based augmentations granted to him by war gods have made him absorb their essence in their deaths, effectively turning him into a war god himself but he is yet to realize this from the canon point I'm taking him.
Enhanced Intelligence: While he's not going to be writing dissertations or inventing new things anytime soon, Troy has high level of intellectual and cognitive proficiency. He has perfect recall, learn things instantly, make complex analysis and deductions, multitask, absorb incredible amounts of information simultaneously, and even possess improved social skills and total control of their body.
Indomitable Will: Among the Archons, even those who preceded him and beats him in contests of power, they agree that Troy is the bravest of them all. It is rooted in his own personality, and is the reason why he was recruited by the war gods of his people. His will allows him to resist incredibly powerful attacks, manipulations, inducements, and even reality warping. He was able to shrug off spells that can vaporize upon contact, mind control, mental torture, influence of hellish dimensions, blood manipulation, endure being overloaded with infinite information and even existence erasure. His divine augmentations help him, certainly, but it is noted that this trait of his is what makes those divine blessings so effective.
Master Marksman: Troy is accurate with virtually all types of firearms, he can hit his mark even while exhausted and injured or even if his enemies are moving at superhuman speed by timing his shots. His preference with assault rifles and handguns allows him to take down multiple enemies by himself at a short amount of time. He is able to use ricochets to hit his target from complicated angles. He is able to hit a target at the exact same spot for over 30 times without enlarging the bullet hole using a fully automatic rifle, and hit a moving target from over a mile away. He is skilled at marksmanship enough to hit targets with precognitive abilities.
Master Martial Artist: He can blend his marksmanship with his empty-hand martial arts seamlessly. Troy is trained and have faced against multiple martial arts styles and fighters, allowing him to adapt to his enemy's fighting style to counter them effectively. He has outlasted, outmaneuvered, and outmatched top-ranking superhuman assassins, other enhanced fighters, and supernatural entities such as gods, demons, and aliens in hand-to-hand combat before. His base style is patterned after the Filipino martial art of Kali, making him a master swordsman with his ginunting, kampilan, and other cutlass-length swords and faced off against larger melee weapons and came out on top. He isn't above to using improvised weapons and is still lethal when unarmed.
Extensive combat, survival, and tactical training: Trained by the war gods of the Philippines, they trained Troy in a blend of ancient warrior ways and modern military practices and drills, making him specialize in dense environments such as a heavily populated city like Manila, or in the jungles and mountains of the Philippines. He adapted to other countries' terrain just fine and outperform the best Special Forces operators and consider their infamously tough selection and training methods to be easy. He is also skilled in stealth that he can break in secured locations and even evade the enhanced senses of supernatural entities. He is considered one of the greatest Archons for his combat skills, able to defeat a full squad of 12 Archon-2s on his own while injured, and earn the respect of the greatest of all Archon-1s.
Extensive knowledge of supernatural lore: He is well-read on different types of supernatural creatures to figure out their weaknesses, as well as rare types of supernatural plants for healing purposes.
Skilled medic and teacher: Being a fighter expected to go behind enemy lines at all times, Troy is trained on how to treat combat injuries and similar afflictions on himself and others. He is skilled at giving massage for recovery and relaxation as a bonus. Taking inspiration from modern day Special Forces, Troy is expected to know how to teach untrained local allies how to fight.
Mystical Tattoos: He is marked with traditional Filipino-styled tattoos with a magical ink that allows him to hide his tattoos, only showing up when it's activated emitting a glowing faded black light. He has tattoos covering his entire arms, both his legs up to his thighs, on his back and on his chest. The tattoos are done in different styles based on the traditions of different Filipino ethnic groups. They have a passive effect and activates automatically and even while unconscious or asleep. These tattoos making him resistant to curses, inducement type spells, and hex-type magic even without his armor.
VICES:
Self-loathing - It's subtle and Troy hides this well beneath a surface-level charisma, a healthy support network, and some actual therapy. But the scars of his past continues to haunt him, making him suffer from depression, even if the phantom pains become more manageable over time. It took a lot of convincing and support from his new friends for him to even accept the job as an Archon Commander, and again as a Marshal. Convincing himself that he did so out of practicality, a part of him continues to doubt his worthiness for the position and projects his reasoning to his superiors, as he has a suspicion they also just hired him out of convenience. Faye's departure opened up some old wounds of him feeling he's not worthy of love, with Troy not realizing how her choice to leave him hurts him more than he wants to admit. This has always been his weakness, especially against manipulative people who can use this to bypass his stubborn resistance, making Troy someone who can be corrupted over time.
Craves danger - Part of his self-loathing, but left with very little knowledge and life experience due to his youth being spent on the Silencer Project, Troy feels like he's only good at war despite his newfound compassion and empathy for his enemies. It is a part of why he chose to live in Brightshore, as he can battle with monsters and face his fear of open water brought upon his traumatic flood experience. His favorite part of his job as Commander is being in the front lines of battle, feeling at home in there due to its familiarity and how effective it is at distracting him from his thoughts when things go quiet. This thrill-seeking can extend to sex, making him more open to experimenting and seeking out the adrenaline high of a sexual encounter
VIRTUES:
Righteous, compassionate - Troy has learned from the mistakes of his past, and made it his mission to become a better man. With the help of his friends and his own soul-searching, Troy has grown and matured from a vengeful and bloodthirsty warrior to someone more fitting for leadership. He uses the pain of his past as fuel to push himself to do things he wouldn't have done before, always looking for the most noble solution to a problem and ways that cause the least harm to his enemies. He trust and sees the good in people even if they are not necessarily kind towards him, always choosing to seek out diplomatic methods and cooperation first before he chooses a violent option. This makes Troy naturally a kind and thoughtful partner who would want to cooperate with other guests more in whatever activities the hotel has in mind for them.
Natural leader - Able to see the big picture, while self-sacrificial and brave enough to make the tough choices for others, Troy's gift in leadership shines when he became a Commander, a talent he wasn't even aware of having while he worked as a Silencer operative. Troy finds it easy to take charge of a situation, often taking the lead in everything, even in simple activities. But he also knows when to hand the reins to someone else, making him easier to work with. Combined with his compassion, Troy's leadership and righteousness made him someone who brings hope to his people in both a large scale and in a personal scale, as he tends to be the type to encourage others through their hesitations and out of their comfort zones (to a degree they are comfortable with)
SUIT REQUESTS:
Spades: Troy being someone of strong moral character and being tough to corrupt, the Spades suit will help him break free out of that comfort zone and allow him to listen to his basest urges, eventually becoming more susceptible and open to the game's shameless sexual nature with less hesitation. While he's not shy when it comes to sex, Troy is respectful of other people's comfort to not push himself at them for sex, but the Spades suit will make him more stubborn, possessive, and perhaps push a little more to get what he wants. Being someone who is more dominant by default, the Spades suit will also allow him to be more submissive with the right partner if it gets him what he wants.
Diamonds: While he's already quite easy to arouse and always ready to have sex, the Diamond suit will exaggerate what traits he already has. Like with the Spades, this suit will help Troy get over his hesitations brought about by his self-imposed restraints. Being a big person and someone who likes to express himself physically, the Diamond's suit's focus on physical aspects will help him be more true to himself and his default dominant stance, making him participate in more of the game's social aspects to meet more people and potential partners. Like with the Spades, the Diamond's suit will help Troy turn more submissive with the right partner to satisfy his sexual urges.
RANK REQUESTS: A middle rank is preferable, please!
