SYNOPSISOnce a boy from Batangas, Philippines in the distant future. Moved to Metro Manila with his mother and siblings to live with relatives. The eldest child and with simple dreams, Troy worked part-time to help support his family. It was short-lived, as the most powerful storm in recorded history battered the country. Floods destroyed his home, and Troy sacrificed his life by braving the currents to save people until he was washed away by the currents. He is vague with the details of what happens next, only now that he's now a orphan teenager with nothing to lose and that the calamity was caused by supernatural entities intent on invading the human world. This was the time he was recruited into the Archon-2 Program, where he was subjected into Project Silencer - an experiment within the Filipino branch of the Program where candidates are sent to a dream dimension where they were trained by the war gods of Filipino mythology. Candidates of Silencer were more likened to black-ops and assassins than the closer-to-conventional soldiers that the Program produces. Troy was forged into a great warrior fueled by vengeance at supernatural beings that plagued his country, with hopes of preventing a repeat of his tragedy. Until eventually it was revealed to be a ruse by the very gods who trained him, lied to him about their goals, pinning the blame on supernatural creatures he was taught to destroy, and using his fellow candidates in the Silencer Project as conduits to the physical plane. Troy was the only one left. He rebelled and stood up to the figures who molded him, defeating the war gods who taught him everything he knows, figures that he grew to view as family during his time in that dream dimension. But it was too late and the cost was great. Troy's duel with the final and most powerful war god, Apo Laki, lead Troy with no choice but to cut the god's life source away: the country itself. Distraught by his lack of choice, he had to trigger another storm that will destroy the country he wanted to spare from another flood. With preparation and help from the foreign Archon Program branches, Troy managed to at least save as much lives from the disaster, allowing his country to live on through them. Yet, as time was of the essence, the majority of the Philippine population was not spared from the disaster, and he still had to sink the entire country to the depths of the sea. The Philippines is granted a fresh start and given a new home in a different colonial planet Tellus, but is reduced to a shadow of it's former self. It will take a long time before the people regain their footing and remember the cultures they've lost. The action wracked Troy with guilt, then eventually he decides to leave Tellus by stowing away in reconnaissance ships, landing in a recently established Terran colony called Midgard where decides to settle to run away from his past. It took time. Troy heals from his emotional wounds by living a simple life. It took some convincing from Midgard's higher ups who found out about his involvement in the Archon Program to convince him to lend his skills for their cause. Eventually, Troy returns as a soldier who lead battles all around Midgard, wishing to do better this time around. With his heroic deeds in Midgard and his efforts to make amends with his past wrongs, he becomes one of the leaders of the military arm of the colony, exploring a planet of magic that looks straight out of fantasy fiction; interacting with elves, dwarves, orcs, dragons, and gods. Troy works to form diplomatic relations with the locals, using his people's advanced technology to help make the lives of the people in it better and to learn more about their new local friends and himself in the process. He helps rescue locals from their lives of serfdom and slavery, or war or tragedy, welcoming them to a safe haven city that acts like a neutral zone for political conflict and a city of trading goods and culture. PERSONALITYA man of integrity and balance; he's compassionate, intuitive, trustworthy, adaptable, and just. Troy is the current commander of his fellow Archons of the Archon-2 Program of supersoldiers. He is seen as a paragon who is both a leader and a relatable friend; serious and friendly, practical and idealistic, and a warrior who is both ferociously efficient in war and inspiringly honorable - all in equal measure. But this seemingly perfect man is not without his flaws, for Troy desperately tries to be a good and better man to who he was before. He sees this opportunity in this new planet to be his second chance to be a better person, to save lives and prevent war as much as possible. A natural leader since he was young, Troy is emphatic towards his companions and civilians, always putting their needs above his own and is supportive towards his friends and strangers alike. He never asks anyone else to do something he wouldn't do himself. His ability to come up with effective strategies and tactics makes his peers see him as their leader. On the surface, Troy is an easy-going and fun-loving person. Despite his difficult career and the grim reality of his line of work, Troy always looks on the bright side of things for his own sake and for his friends'. He actually loves joking around even in the middle of combat to lighten the situation and help boost morale. Reliable and dedicated. Troy's undying loyalty to his friends is well-known and never gives up during tough times if he can help it. He makes up for his lack in magical power with his courage. Troy's bravery against difficult odds made him well-respected by his peers and makes him known as one of the bravest agents of the Archon Program. Troy has faced powerful entities and dove in the middle of the fiercest battles without hesitation. Comfortable with chaos. Troy subconsciously dislikes things that would make him obsolete, or any prolonged moments of peacetime where he is forced to confront the fact he has no purpose other than being a soldier. He is hesitant in forming close relationships, due to some deep-seated self-loathing that made him feel like a dangerous person to be close to. Troy suffers from depression despite hiding it well. Deep down he still holds some blame for what happened, and feels remorse for immature behavior and the rage that consumed him, although he got better at this eventually and became wiser. He always tries his best to be a better person than he was, even if occasionally he feels his vindictive, overconfident anger get the better of him. His determination to see things through is his greatest strength, but it is his greatest weakness when things get personal. He hides his depression by being organized and maintaining his self-discipline, following his therapist's advice. Although he has moments where he gets easily annoyed by minor things, or he gets lost in meaningless hook-ups. He retained his love for thrilling challenge despite his regrets, being promiscuous during his downtime, and his bravery and determination to make things right still inspires his peers. Troy's efforts was eventually recognized and he was given the chance to become a king of the city he helped establish when it grew into a country, ready to make positive changes to his world and others. LORE & WORLDBUILDINGTroy is from a futuristic world set in the Milky Way Galaxy, with humans having started to spread throughout different star systems after a prolonged war with alien factions, which lead to the destruction of Earth. ARCHON SUPERSOLDIERA United Nations (later Terran Protectorate) effort to create post-human warriors using reverse-engineered mythical artifacts to combat alien threats to humanity during her early attempts of interstellar expansion. The Archon Program is split into two generations, with the first using artificially grown human children with "Resonance" capabilities, able to wield magic-like abilities. The second-generation is made up of willing volunteers, after the backlash caused by the first one along with the time and cost to create and train. The second generation of Archon-2s are treated better with more advanced technologies like power armor and more powerful weapons not available to the first Archon-1s. It is a mildly military organization, with more straightforward ranks from Marshal, Commander, and Agent. They operate in small fireteams of two to four. Majority of Archons joined with the Protectorate, but there are few Archons who joined with the other factions. (Similar organizations: Pan-Pacific Defense Corps in Pacific Rim, SOLDIER in Final Fantasy 7, Spartans in Halo) TERRAN PROTECTORATEBorn from the UN, the Terran Protectorate became the ultimate and unifying governmental body of almost all human colonies. Centered around the Tellus colony, the Protectorate has used the collective trauma of humanity from the loss of Earth and the war with aliens, becoming a militaristic faction focused on creating a large and advanced force that will protect humankind from any alien threat. The Protectorate has become xenophobic and focused on strength, with their military often engaging in war with alien species on the edge of the galaxy. Majority of the Archons have joined with the Protectorate, with only Troy's company of 100 Archon-2s siding with Midgard. The Protectorate has massive armadas of warships and millions of war mechs as their primary weapons of war. The Protectorate is mostly unaware of Midgard, but is set to invade it once they find out about it and thus causing a rift and a potential of civil war between Terrans with Midgard protecting Atanos from the Protectorate's imperialism. The Protectorate's declaration of war and is all under the false pretense of "saving" the humans of Midgard from the non-humans of Atanos. (Similar organizations: UNSC from Halo, Systems Alliance from Mass Effect, UED from Starcraft) ATANOS ("Midgard") & SILVISA planet of elves, dwarves, orcs, and gods. The locals are referred to as Ataneans. It's a world that feels straight out of a fantasy novel, with floating vistas and lush forestry to vast oceans and bustling cities powered by magic. It's a deceptively primitive world, retaining it's pre-industrial level of technology since they rely on magic anyway. It is split into many continents and is nearly the size of Earth (albeit a little bigger), with the western continents looking more akin to western fantasy canons (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Cosmere, Warcraft) while the eastern continents looking more akin to anime style of fantasy canons (Fire Emblem, Granblue Fantasy, Final Fantasy, Genshin Impact). Humans also exist in Atanos, having been from another ark ship that got displaced in time and arriving to Atanos 7000 years in the past, giving them a head start and allowing them to adapt to the planet. The Atanos Humans (called "Erdans" to set them apart from their Terran kin) call their homeworld of Earth "Erda". Erdans and their Terran cousins differ from their eyes, with Erdans having evolved marks on their pupils and are generally physically stronger than the average unaugmented Terran. Erdans have become the most populous species in Atanos, effectively dominating it once the Elves largely retreated west. The locals and the Terrans formed a treaty to coexist, trading technology and culture with each other and trying not to rock the tense relations between their respective governments. Terrans have settled on an uninhabited southern continent of the planet, analogous to Australia and New Zealand in size and position on the map. Terrans call the continent Silvis, based on the most well known local name for it. It was a dark continent full of monsters much larger and more fearsome than those found in the rest of the planet (which doesn't help stop the Australia jokes), but Terrans with their technology made it livable after eliminating the monstrous threats and slowly terraforming the arid deserts. Silvis is divided to seven states, with major cities are positioned on the coasts of the continent, with the middle of the landmass usually reserved for military and industrial sectors. The northern part of the continent is a horn-shaped cape called Gjallarhorn, where the city of Aurum is located. Aurum is a sanctuary city for local refugees, which doubles as a port for trade and a place for embassies. Made by Terrans and was given a pre-Renaissance aesthetics for the locals' familiarity, but with the added benefit of modern comforts as well such as electricity, plumbing, and transportation. Aurum is the only city that locals are allowed to step foot in at Silvis, with other Terran cities banning entry unless given proper permits. Silvis is a megadiverse country with a Terran population of around 125 million, and its size gives it a wide variety of landscapes and climates, with deserts in the center, tropical rainforests in the north-east, tropical savannas in the north, and mountain ranges in the south-east. The island to the east is annexed with only a small major city in it. Military outposts are scattered all over the continent, with a secret research outpost and military base on the southern Antarctica-like continent. Datu-class Mark 4 Warskin (Updated Feb. 13 2025)
Components:
→ "Mutya" Anti-matter Reactors: uses one placed in the chest carapace, with two reserves on either hip. Excess energy can be transferred to the suit's arms and legs, to add an electric capability to Troy's hand-to-hand attacks or emit a bright flash of light to blind opponents.
→ Automed System: grants Troy regenerative healing
→ Nanite Auto-Repair System: grants the suit self-repairing abilities
→ Nanocomposite Muscle System: enhances all of Troy's physical combat attributes, while it doubles as a pressure seal and protection from harmful external substances. Reverse-engineered from Thor's strength-enhancing belt Megingjord, and his gauntlets Jarngreipr.
→ Target Lock-on: the suit physically orients itself (but not to the point it harms Troy) so his weapon is directly facing the target, even if they are fast and mobile
→ Integrated Thrusters: equipped on the suit's shoulders, back, sides, hips, legs, & feet, these thrusters greatly increases Troy's mobility and allows him to move in vacuum environments. Troy uses this to hover, slide, skate, and even fly his way around the battlefield and keep up with his much faster enemies and allies. Reverse-engineered from Hermes' winged boots Talaria.
→ "Kratonium Type-A" Armor Plating: an outer shell made from completely vibration absorbent material called Kratonium & reverse-engineered from the mythical armor of Achilles, Kavacha of Karna, and Thor's hammer Mjolnir, with added "kabal/kunat" type of "agimat" from Filipino sorcerers. Troy's particular suit plating was forged with the latest technology and added magical means, quenching the metal with enchanted fulgurite ("pangil ng kidlat" or "fang of lightning"), enchanted mud, and droplets of magical water from enchanted banana trees. This allows Troy withstand extremely powerful hits and feel no impact from attacks, high falls, or from crashing through walls and starship hulls like a bullet, without even losing momentum. It's nigh-indestructible to physical harm, but can be destroyed by supernatural or cosmic attacks. The armor plating is later engraved with "suyat" scripts/runes on the edges of each segment, enhancing his protection against magic.
→ "Baluti" Energy Shielding: a regenerative energy shield reverse-engineered from the mythical planet-wide shield Svalinn, the Aegis, and Sir Lancelot's Ring of Dispel, and various "tagabulag" and "tagaliwas" type of agimat from Filipino sorcery - this system emits alonite radiation around the suit, protecting Troy from supernatural influence, from simply magical attacks, mind-reading, to even reality altering phenomena. He can turn invisible and stop any projectile fired at him. He can also charge this up and emit it in a bubble-shaped burst to cancel out and negate any supernatural energies within range, effectively shutting down magical powers (temporarily) of his enemies but leaves him unprotected until the shield regenerates
→ Neural Link: the suit can read Troy's brainwaves, myopotential and synaptic responses without the need of a cybernetic implant to his nervous system. Connected to the artificial muscle layer, and his synthetic intelligence assistant, Troy can use the suit functions without any vocal command. This neural link system can also boost Troy's reaction time significantly, making him see things in slow motion.
→ Heads-up Display: shows information such as mission data, ammo count, supply and oxygen levels, and identification systems. Also plays movies and music, answer phone calls, and has high-speed internet access. This is enhanced by "tagosilangan" type of agimat charms that allows him to see the invisible, both cloaked and those occupying other dimensions.
→ "Suyat" Runic Inscriptions: magical writings in various traditional Filipino scripts, emblazoned on the edges of different segments of his armor plating, granting his suit a unique magical property that sets it apart from other War Skins that are purely technological. This improves durability to both physical and magical attacks.
Weaponry:
Troy has access to a multitude of weapons being the Archon's most relied-upon anti-supernatural agent. Weapons and equipment can be delivered to him via an experimental teleportation system as long as he is in Regency affiliated worlds. Outside of it, Troy relies on his favorite set of weapons that has become his trademark:
→ "Balantagi" Weapon System: Troy's signature self-assembling and transforming rifle held together by energy fields and made especially for close-quarters combat. It can fold itself within the suit's forearm unit for easy storage and reassemble within a second. It can adapt to various firing modes (rifle, cannon, and a third option that varies depending on the mission), firing ionized-particles that explode upon impact and can disintegrate physical targets down to the molecular level. The Suklam is the culmination of various mythological weapons combined with the essence of natural forces of the Philippine islands, mainly the lances Gae Bulg (gives the shots a limited homing capability for faster targets) with the fierce Amihan and Habagat monsoon winds, Gae Derg (gives the shots an anti-magic capability and can harm intangible targets) with the powerful volcanic forces of the country, and Gae Buidhe (counters regenerative healing of biological targets) fused with the essence of venom of various native Filipino animals. It is also imbued with "kaykay" type of spells, allowing it to bypass space manipulation based defenses and hit its target. The weapon has no muzzle flash, instead it warps the space around the muzzle, bending the light around it as it fires. It is prone to overheating if Troy doesn't control his shots.
→ "Buhawi" Grenades: an implosion grenade shaped like a small disk and launched from the armor's forearm unit, creating a miniature gravity field that sucks in anything within range. Troy uses this for especially faster targets. This is usually made with "pamako" type of agimat charms from Filipino sorcery.
→ "Parusa" Ginunting Nanoblade: Troy's oldest and most trusted weapon that has been with him from the beginning of his mage-hunting career. It's a machete-length weapon with a full s-shaped handguard and a forward-curving blade, strong enough to withstand and parry energy blades and block strikes from much stronger opponents. Created with the latest technology and added magical means, this blade was quenched in water blessed by a magic meteorite and venomous insects and arachnids. This Nanoblade weakens the molecular bonds of its target. This allows the blade to have tremendous cutting capability and be able to chop even ship hulls, giant robots, and the toughest alloys with enough force. Reverse-engineered from Moralltach. (Image)
→ "Hatol" Barong Combat Knife: a companion nanoblade weapon to the Parusa, often used in tandem with the longer blade as a parrying knife, or independently for quick and silent kills. Like with the Parusa, the Hatol is forged in the same manner as its longer counterpart. The Hatol's "barong" shape makes it better suited for stabbing, but its cutting power is not that less than its longer counterpart. Reverse-engineered from Fragarach, combined with "sumbalik" type of counter-spell. (Image)
→ "Bantay" Combat Drones: miniature Tatsulok-model drones that Troy can command mentally, usually stored within his suit. These wedge-shaped drones can assist Troy in providing suppressive and focused fire with their energy blasts, or generate a more powerful shield that can deflect and absorb energy from enemy attacks.
Default Color:
His armor can appear in different paint schemes, but the black and gold plates is the default.
Helmet optics can appear like four blue eye-slits instead of three dots on either side, depending on the environment. The shoulder pauldrons are of the black and gold Philippine eagle, corresponding with his rank of Commander. The armor has a matte black finish with radar absorbing paint that also doesn't reflect a lot of light, allowing him to blend into the darkness easier.
