SYNOPSIS

Once a boy from Batangas, Philippines in the distant future. Moved to Metro Manila with his mother and siblings to live with relatives. The eldest child and with simple dreams, Troy worked part-time to help support his family. It was short-lived, as the most powerful storm in recorded history battered the country. Floods destroyed his home, and Troy sacrificed his life by braving the currents to save people until he was washed away by the currents. He is vague with the details of what happens next, only now that he's now a orphan teenager with nothing to lose and that the calamity was caused by supernatural entities intent on invading the human world. This was the time he was recruited into the Archon-2 Program, where he was subjected into Project Silencer - an experiment within the Filipino branch of the Program where candidates are sent to a dream dimension where they were trained by the war gods of Filipino mythology. Candidates of Silencer were more likened to black-ops and assassins than the closer-to-conventional soldiers that the Program produces.

Troy was forged into a great warrior fueled by vengeance at supernatural beings that plagued his country, with hopes of preventing a repeat of his tragedy. Until eventually it was revealed to be a ruse by the very gods who trained him, lied to him about their goals, pinning the blame on supernatural creatures he was taught to destroy, and using his fellow candidates in the Silencer Project as conduits to the physical plane. Troy was the only one left. He rebelled and stood up to the figures who molded him, defeating the war gods who taught him everything he knows, figures that he grew to view as family during his time in that dream dimension. But it was too late and the cost was great. Troy's duel with the final and most powerful war god, Apo Laki, lead Troy with no choice but to cut the god's life source away: the country itself. Distraught by his lack of choice, he had to trigger another storm that will destroy the country he wanted to spare from another flood. With preparation and help from the foreign Archon Program branches, Troy managed to at least save as much lives from the disaster, allowing his country to live on through them. Yet, as time was of the essence, the majority of the Philippine population was not spared from the disaster, and he still had to sink the entire country to the depths of the sea.

The Philippines is granted a fresh start and given a new home in a different colonial planet Tellus, but is reduced to a shadow of it's former self. It will take a long time before the people regain their footing and remember the cultures they've lost. The action wracked Troy with guilt, then eventually he decides to leave Tellus by stowing away in reconnaissance ships, landing in a recently established Terran colony called Midgard where decides to settle to run away from his past.

It took time. Troy heals from his emotional wounds by living a simple life. It took some convincing from Midgard's higher ups who found out about his involvement in the Archon Program to convince him to lend his skills for their cause. Eventually, Troy returns as a soldier who lead battles all around Midgard, wishing to do better this time around. With his heroic deeds in Midgard and his efforts to make amends with his past wrongs, he becomes one of the leaders of the military arm of the colony, exploring a planet of magic that looks straight out of fantasy fiction; interacting with elves, dwarves, orcs, dragons, and gods. Troy works to form diplomatic relations with the locals, using his people's advanced technology to help make the lives of the people in it better and to learn more about their new local friends and himself in the process. He helps rescue locals from their lives of serfdom and slavery, or war or tragedy, welcoming them to a safe haven city that acts like a neutral zone for political conflict and a city of trading goods and culture.

PERSONALITY

A man of integrity and balance; he's compassionate, intuitive, trustworthy, adaptable, and just. Troy is the current commander of his fellow Archons of the Archon-2 Program of supersoldiers. He is seen as a paragon who is both a leader and a relatable friend; serious and friendly, practical and idealistic, and a warrior who is both ferociously efficient in war and inspiringly honorable - all in equal measure. But this seemingly perfect man is not without his flaws, for Troy desperately tries to be a good and better man to who he was before. He sees this opportunity in this new planet to be his second chance to be a better person, to save lives and prevent war as much as possible.

A natural leader since he was young, Troy is emphatic towards his companions and civilians, always putting their needs above his own and is supportive towards his friends and strangers alike. He never asks anyone else to do something he wouldn't do himself. His ability to come up with effective strategies and tactics makes his peers see him as their leader. On the surface, Troy is an easy-going and fun-loving person. Despite his difficult career and the grim reality of his line of work, Troy always looks on the bright side of things for his own sake and for his friends'. He actually loves joking around even in the middle of combat to lighten the situation and help boost morale.

Reliable and dedicated. Troy's undying loyalty to his friends is well-known and never gives up during tough times if he can help it. He makes up for his lack in magical power with his courage. Troy's bravery against difficult odds made him well-respected by his peers and makes him known as one of the bravest agents of the Archon Program. Troy has faced powerful entities and dove in the middle of the fiercest battles without hesitation.

Comfortable with chaos. Troy subconsciously dislikes things that would make him obsolete, or any prolonged moments of peacetime where he is forced to confront the fact he has no purpose other than being a soldier. He is hesitant in forming close relationships, due to some deep-seated self-loathing that made him feel like a dangerous person to be close to. Troy suffers from depression despite hiding it well. Deep down he still holds some blame for what happened, and feels remorse for immature behavior and the rage that consumed him, although he got better at this eventually and became wiser. He always tries his best to be a better person than he was, even if occasionally he feels his vindictive, overconfident anger get the better of him. His determination to see things through is his greatest strength, but it is his greatest weakness when things get personal.

He hides his depression by being organized and maintaining his self-discipline, following his therapist's advice. Although he has moments where he gets easily annoyed by minor things, or he gets lost in meaningless hook-ups. He retained his love for thrilling challenge despite his regrets, being promiscuous during his downtime, and his bravery and determination to make things right still inspires his peers. Troy's efforts was eventually recognized and he was given the chance to become a king of the city he helped establish when it grew into a country, ready to make positive changes to his world and others.

LORE & WORLDBUILDING

Troy is from a futuristic world set in the Milky Way Galaxy, with humans having started to spread throughout different star systems after a prolonged war with alien factions, which lead to the destruction of Earth.

ARCHON SUPERSOLDIER
A United Nations (later Terran Protectorate) effort to create post-human warriors using reverse-engineered mythical artifacts to combat alien threats to humanity during her early attempts of interstellar expansion. The Archon Program is split into two generations, with the first using artificially grown human children with "Resonance" capabilities, able to wield magic-like abilities. The second-generation is made up of willing volunteers, after the backlash caused by the first one along with the time and cost to create and train. The second generation of Archon-2s are treated better with more advanced technologies like power armor and more powerful weapons not available to the first Archon-1s. It is a mildly military organization, with more straightforward ranks from Marshal, Commander, and Agent. They operate in small fireteams of two to four. Majority of Archons joined with the Protectorate, but there are few Archons who joined with the other factions. (Similar organizations: Pan-Pacific Defense Corps in Pacific Rim, SOLDIER in Final Fantasy 7, Spartans in Halo)

TERRAN PROTECTORATE
Born from the UN, the Terran Protectorate became the ultimate and unifying governmental body of almost all human colonies. Centered around the Tellus colony, the Protectorate has used the collective trauma of humanity from the loss of Earth and the war with aliens, becoming a militaristic faction focused on creating a large and advanced force that will protect humankind from any alien threat. The Protectorate has become xenophobic and focused on strength, with their military often engaging in war with alien species on the edge of the galaxy. Majority of the Archons have joined with the Protectorate, with only Troy's company of 100 Archon-2s siding with Midgard. The Protectorate has massive armadas of warships and millions of war mechs as their primary weapons of war. The Protectorate is mostly unaware of Midgard, but is set to invade it once they find out about it and thus causing a rift and a potential of civil war between Terrans with Midgard protecting Atanos from the Protectorate's imperialism. The Protectorate's declaration of war and is all under the false pretense of "saving" the humans of Midgard from the non-humans of Atanos. (Similar organizations: UNSC from Halo, Systems Alliance from Mass Effect, UED from Starcraft)

ATANOS ("Midgard") & SILVIS
A planet of elves, dwarves, orcs, and gods. The locals are referred to as Ataneans. It's a world that feels straight out of a fantasy novel, with floating vistas and lush forestry to vast oceans and bustling cities powered by magic. It's a deceptively primitive world, retaining it's pre-industrial level of technology since they rely on magic anyway. It is split into many continents and is nearly the size of Earth (albeit a little bigger), with the western continents looking more akin to western fantasy canons (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Cosmere, Warcraft) while the eastern continents looking more akin to anime style of fantasy canons (Fire Emblem, Granblue Fantasy, Final Fantasy, Genshin Impact). Humans also exist in Atanos, having been from another ark ship that got displaced in time and arriving to Atanos 7000 years in the past, giving them a head start and allowing them to adapt to the planet. The Atanos Humans (called "Erdans" to set them apart from their Terran kin) call their homeworld of Earth "Erda". Erdans and their Terran cousins differ from their eyes, with Erdans having evolved marks on their pupils and are generally physically stronger than the average unaugmented Terran. Erdans have become the most populous species in Atanos, effectively dominating it once the Elves largely retreated west. The locals and the Terrans formed a treaty to coexist, trading technology and culture with each other and trying not to rock the tense relations between their respective governments.

Terrans have settled on an uninhabited southern continent of the planet, analogous to Australia and New Zealand in size and position on the map. Terrans call the continent Silvis, based on the most well known local name for it. It was a dark continent full of monsters much larger and more fearsome than those found in the rest of the planet (which doesn't help stop the Australia jokes), but Terrans with their technology made it livable after eliminating the monstrous threats and slowly terraforming the arid deserts. Silvis is divided to seven states, with major cities are positioned on the coasts of the continent, with the middle of the landmass usually reserved for military and industrial sectors. The northern part of the continent is a horn-shaped cape called Gjallarhorn, where the city of Aurum is located. Aurum is a sanctuary city for local refugees, which doubles as a port for trade and a place for embassies. Made by Terrans and was given a pre-Renaissance aesthetics for the locals' familiarity, but with the added benefit of modern comforts as well such as electricity, plumbing, and transportation. Aurum is the only city that locals are allowed to step foot in at Silvis, with other Terran cities banning entry unless given proper permits.

Silvis is a megadiverse country with a Terran population of around 125 million, and its size gives it a wide variety of landscapes and climates, with deserts in the center, tropical rainforests in the north-east, tropical savannas in the north, and mountain ranges in the south-east. The island to the east is annexed with only a small major city in it. Military outposts are scattered all over the continent, with a secret research outpost and military base on the southern Antarctica-like continent. For more information, refer to this comment

POWERS

Troy's abilities are acquired from different points of his life and can be divided into three categories: Silencer, Archon, and Lakan

  • (Silencer) Enhanced Physiology: Troy's physical augmentations differs from other Archon soldiers, having come from a painful tattooing process that imbued to him godlike powers from various war gods of Filipino mythology. It allows him to outperform even other Archons, and it continued on improving at an exponential rate even compared to his Archon companions. The gods of war have put him through a specialized training system that can enhance a normal human to superhuman heights, which further increases with age and continued proper training that Troy was later able to achieve physical feats that's been called "godlike". His strength, speed, agility allows him to take on squads of heavily armed mecha (Gundam sized) single-handedly, all while unarmed. He was also able to fight giant monsters (Godzilla Earth sized) and divine giants (around 1600 feet tall) that tried to squash him but were unable to do so. He was able to force open a magically sealed gate that forbade even gods from entering, align moon-sized rings of an Alderson disk, push a skyscraper-sized bridge, and flip a building-sized robot (comparable to Raiden vs Excelsus) with nothing but his raw strength. His strength, reflexes, durability, and stamina are especially notable, able to be in the thickest of battlefields and come out only receiving glancing blows or even completely unscathed. On the times he gets injured or didn't have any time for food or rest, he is able to keep going for weeks. Troy often fights entities that can overpower him in a straight fight, but he manages to hold his own even if it comes to such an encounter with his highly tuned coordination, hyper-awareness and focus and a preternatural precognitive ability that helps him predict his enemies' next attacks that comes with his Silencer training. He also heals from injury at a faster rate, often instantly, even from injuries that would be fatal to a normal human or attacking his brain. See mythical relics/upgrades for more details.

  • (Silencer) Enhanced Intelligence: While he's not going to be writing dissertations or inventing new things anytime soon, Troy has high level of intellectual and cognitive proficiency. He has perfect recall, learn things instantly, make complex analysis and deductions, multitask, absorb incredible amounts of information simultaneously, and even possess improved social skills and total control of their body.

  • (Silencer) Indomitable Will: Among the Archons, even those who preceded him and beats him in contests of power, they agree that Troy is the bravest of them all. It is rooted in his own personality, and is the reason why he was recruited by the war gods of his people. His will allows him to resist incredibly powerful attacks, manipulations, inducements, and even reality warping. He was able to shrug off spells that can vaporize upon contact, mind control, mental torture, influence of hellish dimensions, blood manipulation, endure being overloaded with infinite information and even existence erasure. His divine augmentations help him, certainly, but it is noted that this trait of his is what makes those divine blessings so effective.

  • (Silencer) Master Marksman: Troy is accurate with virtually all types of firearms, he can hit his mark even while exhausted and injured or even if his enemies are moving at superhuman speed by timing his shots. His preference with assault rifles and handguns allows him to take down multiple enemies by himself at a short amount of time. He is able to use ricochets to hit his target from complicated angles. He is able to hit a target at the exact same spot for over 30 times without enlarging the bullet hole using a fully automatic rifle, and hit a moving target from over a mile away. He is skilled at marksmanship enough to hit targets with precognitive abilities.

  • (Silencer) Master Martial Artist: He can blend his marksmanship with his empty-hand martial arts seamlessly. Troy is trained and have faced against multiple martial arts styles and fighters, allowing him to adapt to his enemy's fighting style to counter them effectively. He has outlasted, outmaneuvered, and outmatched top-ranking superhuman assassins, other enhanced fighters, and supernatural entities such as gods, demons, and aliens in hand-to-hand combat before. His base style is patterned after the Filipino martial art of Kali, making him a master swordsman with his ginunting, kampilan, and other cutlass-length swords and faced off against larger melee weapons and came out on top. He isn't above to using improvised weapons and is still lethal when unarmed.

  • (Silencer) Extensive combat, survival, and tactical training Trained by the war gods of the Philippines, they trained Troy in a blend of ancient warrior ways and modern military practices and drills, making him specialize in dense environments such as a heavily populated city like Manila, or in the jungles and mountains of the Philippines. He adapted to other countries' terrain just fine and outperform the best Special Forces operators and consider their infamously tough selection and training methods to be easy. He is also skilled in stealth that he can break in secured locations and even evade the enhanced senses of supernatural entities. He is considered one of the greatest Archons for his combat skills, able to defeat a full squad of 12 Archon-2s on his own while injured, and earn the respect of the greatest of all Archon-1s.

  • (Silencer) Extensive knowledge of supernatural lore: He is well-read on different types of supernatural creatures to figure out their weaknesses, as well as rare types of supernatural plants for healing purposes.

  • (Silencer) Skilled Medic and Teacher: Being a fighter expected to go behind enemy lines at all times, Troy is trained on how to treat combat injuries and similar afflictions on himself and others. He is skilled at giving massage for recovery and relaxation as a bonus. Taking inspiration from modern day Special Forces, Troy is expected to know how to teach untrained local allies how to fight.

  • (Silencer) Mystical tattoos: He is marked with traditional Filipino-styled tattoos with a magical ink that allows him to hide his tattoos, only showing up when it's activated emitting a glowing faded black light. He has tattoos covering his entire arms, both his legs up to his thighs, on his back and on his chest. The tattoos are done in different styles based on the traditions of different Filipino ethnic groups. They have a passive effect and activates automatically and even while unconscious or asleep. These tattoos making him resistant to curses, inducement type spells, and hex-type magic even without his armor.

  • (Archon) Kratonium Warskin Power Armor: An advanced nanotechnological power armor suit, more advanced than the standard issue for regular Archons. Made of self-assembling Kratonium particles and fibers, the Warskin enhances Troy's already impressive effectiveness in battle with increased survivability, versatility, and advanced weaponry. For more detailed information, read here.

  • (Lakan) High-Level Reality Warping: After accepting his title as a god and passing through trials in a metaphysical realm and sacrificing so much of what he values, Troy has become worthy of the title of Lakan and the powers of the supreme deities of his people. The trials involve him passing through the realm of the dead (effectively dying), absorbing infinite amounts of information to grant him cosmic levels of awareness. His human potential to keep exceeding limits combined with this godly power allows Troy to surpass the gods of the past. His physical abilities become immeasurable, and his power is enough to command the titan-sized eldritch monsters of the cosmos (among them being the Celestial Eaters of Philippine mythology), being able to stop them from wreaking havoc and thus bringing peace to all worlds. He later abdicates this position to his daughter, Isabelle. For comparison, Troy as Lakan is on par with Rune King Thor from Marvel Comics.

EXTRAS

  • Genre: Troy is from a science-fantasy universe. Combining high-fantasy and hard sci-fi where two different civilizations coexist on the same planet. It's a morally gray setting, with characters used to making tough choices. It has high technology from space travel and space battles, mecha and advanced weaponry, advanced cities and quality of life; to high fantasy like magic, political conflict between kingdoms and empires, fantastical landscapes, different species from myths, and the existence of gods. He's from a futuristic Earth (called Erda by the local peoples of Atanos, officially called Terra with the people called Terrans), although Troy lives in a newer colony called Midgard that lost contact with the rest of the ark fleets and colonies. He helped establish a city for local refugees who wish for asylum under the protection of Terrans and their advanced military, which eventually evolves to a country of it's own where he is asked to be king. Other extrasolar colonies exist elsewhere, and Terran cities are slowly turning toward a greener future with sleek new buildings mixed with old architecture that isn't far away from the modern world we see today. Other creatures from myths and aliens exist, as are other universes.

  • Shipping Preferences: M/F preferred for shipping and smut, but I'm not opposed to talking about M/M content if our muses get along. Age-gaps can work in a case-by-case basis with nobody younger than 15. Trans characters or "femboy"/otokonoko characters are fine with him. Here's a kink list for more details.

  • Medium Preferences Open to any medium. He works best with other animanga characters or video game characters due to similarities in tone and style. Superhero canons from live-action mediums are also easier to come up with scenarios with since it won't take much adjustments or straying from his own world. I'm always interested in meshing his sci-fi genre with fantasy as well.

  • I have a sexswapped or "rule 63" alternate account ([personal profile] anito) that you can request anytime whenever you see Troy's top-level on Bakerstreet.

  • Some canons that I am aware of and can work with Troy: Honkai Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Fire Emblem, Fate/...
